⚠ Important: WillFarm is an informational decision-support tool only. It does not replace the judgment of a qualified, licensed agronomist. Always verify agrochemical, regulatory, and crop management decisions with a qualified local professional before acting.
Advisory Tool — Not Professional Advice
All recommendations, estimates, schedules, and outputs generated by WillFarm (including AI assistant responses) are informational in nature. They are based on scientific datasets and models and are provided as decision-support guidance only.
WillFarm outputs do not constitute:
- Professional agronomic advice
- Legal advice regarding plant protection regulations
- Financial advice
- Veterinary advice
- Food safety certification
Agrochemical & Pesticide Use
Pesticide and herbicide recommendations generated by WillFarm are based on EPPO database information and publicly available agronomic standards. However:
- Approvals vary by country and are subject to change
- Always check the current national approval status of any product before use
- WillFarm does not guarantee that any recommended product is currently authorised in your jurisdiction
- In the EU: verify against the EU Pesticides Database and your national authority
- In the UK: verify against the HSE Pesticides Register
- In Turkey: verify against the T.C. Tarım ve Orman Bakanlığı approved list
Data Accuracy & Resolution Limits
WillFarm uses the following scientific datasets, each with known limitations:
- NASA POWER: Modelled meteorological data at ~0.5° resolution. May differ from actual on-site conditions, especially in areas with complex terrain.
- ISRIC SoilGrids v2: Satellite soil data at 250m × 250m resolution. Does not reflect micro-variations within individual fields. Not a substitute for laboratory soil analysis.
- Open-Meteo: Weather forecast data with standard forecast uncertainty. Forecasts beyond 5 days carry increasing uncertainty.
- FAO / EPPO: Agronomic standards and crop science data. Local conditions, varieties, and practices may differ.
GDD & Crop Models
Growing Degree Day (GDD) calculations and crop development models are based on generalised FAO/BBCH standards. Actual crop development rates depend on local variety, seed quality, soil conditions, and management practices which cannot be fully captured by remote data.
Irrigation & Water Management
Irrigation volume and timing recommendations are estimates based on ET₀ (evapotranspiration) models and crop coefficients. Actual water requirements depend on local soil water-holding capacity, irrigation system efficiency, and field conditions. WillFarm accepts no liability for water use, crop stress, or regulatory non-compliance arising from irrigation decisions.
AI Assistant Limitations
The WillFarm AI assistant is powered by a large language model (Claude by Anthropic). It may produce inaccurate, outdated, or contextually inappropriate responses. Do not rely solely on AI outputs for regulated activities including chemical applications, food safety decisions, or legal compliance.
No Warranty
WillFarm is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will be accurate, complete, or current.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WillFarm and its operators shall not be liable for any loss of crops, income, or profit; any regulatory penalty or legal action; any indirect or consequential damages; or any losses arising from reliance on platform outputs, data provider inaccuracies, or AI assistant responses.
